Thanks to a strong turnout at last weekend’s open house, we’ve decided to extend the hours for upcoming Saturday nights. Now you can tour the Roff Home even later! On both Sat., Oct. 24 and Sat., Oct. 31, the Roff Home will be open from 1-5 pm and 7-10 pm.
We’ve received great feedback from visitors. People loved the pictures of former owner Katharine Clifton and the pictures dating back to 1876. They appreciated the info on the Watseka Wonder, a.k.a. Lurancy Vennum, the young girl who was supposedly possessed by the spirit of Mary Roff. And visitors enjoyed learning about the other historic people who have lived in the home.
This week, we’re adding even more for your touring pleasure. We’re making available more recordings from past ghost hunts at the home, and we’re printing out photos from paranormal investigations. You’ll also be able to see the original color scheme as we repaint the eaves and brackets of the exterior of the home.
If you are interested in attending an open house at the Roff Home, you can purchase tickets online through the Roff Home website or directly at the door. If you have any questions about the open houses, feel free to contact us at info@roffhome.com. We’d love to hear from you!
